Evergreen Engineering & Design, LLC provides structural engineering and design services for new construction and remodels, including but not limited to:

*Included with the above services is in-house drafting - I draft all my own plans and details.

This helps reduce the oversights and allows me to ensure the selected structural elements fit within the architectural framework.  It also saves the time of coordinating and back checking with the designer or an outside drafting service.

Consultations:

• On-Site: On site consultation is available for western Skagit County, and North Whidbey or Fidalgo Islands for the minimum contract fee.  The consultation fee will be deducted from the required retainer should a contract be signed.  Other locations are on a case by case basis. 
  

Contracts may be initiated by the Owner, Architect, Contractor or other authorized representative of the owner.

Estimates are based on a review of the architectural plans, soils report and other relevant information. The intent is to provide an up front estimate for engineering that reflects the true cost of the work so there are no 'extras' and no 'sticker shock' at the end of the project.

Permitting should be a smooth process, but should the permitting agency have questions or require clarification, these will be handled at no additional charge.

Fees:

Hourly rate is currently $125 with a four (4) hour minimum.
